Indira Gandhi (Indian Prime Minister for Four Terms)

indira-gandhi.jpgIndira Priyadarshini Gandhi (Hindi: इंदिरा प्रियदर्शिनी गांधी Indirā Priyadarśinī Gāndhī; née: Nehru; 19 November 1917 – 31 October 1984) was the Prime Minister of the Republic of India for three consecutive terms from 1966 to 1977 and for a fourth term from 1980 until her assassination  in 1984, a total of fifteen years.

She was India's first and to date, only female prime minister. She is the world's all time longest serving female Prime Minister.

Elizabeth Cady Stanton (Social Activist/Abolitionist/Feminist)

Her Declaration of Sentiments, presented at the first women's rights convention held in 1848 in Seneca Falls, New York, is often credited with initiating the first organized woman's rights and woman's suffrage movements in the United States.
