Elly Beinhorn (30 May 1907 – 28 November 2007) was a German aviator and pilot.

She was born in Hannover, Germany on 30 May 1907. In 1928, she attended a lecture by famed aviator Hermann Köhl, who had recently completed a historic East-West Atlantic crossing. This lecture is described as the spark that ignited her interest in aviation.

Sheryl Kara Sandberg is the Chief Operating Officer of Facebook. Prior to Facebook, Sheryl was Vice President of Global Online Sales and Operations at Google.

She also helped launch Google's philanthropic arm Google.org.

Beverly Sills (May 25, 1929 – July 2, 2007) was an American operatic soprano between the 1950s and 1970s.

Although she sang a repertoire from Handel and Mozart to Puccini, Massenet, Wagner, and Verdi, she was known for her performances in coloratura soprano roles in live opera and recordings. 

Claire McCardell (1905–1958) was an American fashion designer  in the arena of ready-to-wear clothing in the 20th century. From the 1930s to the 1950s, she was known for designing functional, affordable, and stylish women’s sportswear, and is today acknowledged as the creator of the “American Look” , a casual approach to fashion that rejected the formality of French couture.
