nazanin-afshin-jam.jpgNazanin Afshin-Jam (Persian: born 1979 in Tehran, Iran) is an Iranian-Canadian Human Rights Activist, President and Co-Founder of Stop Child Executions.

In addition to being an outspoken activist on behalf of the people of Iran, she is also a talented singer, songwriter, model, actress, pilot, former Miss World Canada and Miss World 1st runner up. She immigrated to Canada with her family in 1981.

Moore is best known for The Mary Tyler Moore Show (1970–1977), in which she starred as Mary Richards, a 30-something single woman who worked as a local news producer in Minneapolis, and for her earlier role as Laura Petrie (Dick Van Dyke's wife) on The Dick Van Dyke Show (1961–1966).

Heather Knight (International Cricketer)

A prolific batsman at county level for her native Devon, she has played for the Diamonds, the Rubies, England Academy Women and the England Women's team. She topped the county run scoring aggregates in both 2008 (390 runs) and 2009 (622).

She began her recording career as a member of the British pop band The Tourists, and subsequently formed the duo Eurythmics with former bandmate David A. Stewart.

The duo gained international prominence over the course of the 1980s with singles such as "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)" and "Here Comes the Rain Again".
