You Have The Right. We All Have The Responsibility.

Susan notes: There are 30 articles in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights which was adopted by the United Nations on December 10, 1948.

Article 1 says: “All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are  endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a  spirit of brotherhood.”

So far our collective record in abiding by the principles outlined in the Declaration is abysmal. Having it readily available to people worldwide might be one small step toward increasing awareness about our rights and responsibilities toward each other.
