Girls & women need more education

Educated women are powerful change agents. What a shame that:

• 65 miiilion of the 121 million children in the world who don’t go to school are girls
• In sub-Saharan Africa south at least 24 million girls don’t go to school
• Two-thirds of the 150 million children in the world who quit school before the fifth grade are girls.
• 875 million adults in the world can’t read or write, almost 600 million are women.
